Integral's i-Focus provides easy mainframe or server ad-hoc reporting directly from your live database
Make your ad-hoc reporting a breeze with Integral’s new i-Focus. This tool easily provides access to any database, including VSAM or DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, or others. For clients who currently use Integral’s i-Trust Web or BMS Web systems, you can report directly from the Employee Database, Control Tables, Payroll History, Employee History, Benefit Management, or Position Control.

i-Focus is based on Information Builder’s WebFocus product. With i-Focus, you can satisfy the diverse needs of an unlimited number of users and user types by providing reliable, manageable enterprise reporting and business intelligence capabilities.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Real-time data from your VSAM or DB2 files
  • GUI, drag and drop report development environment
  • Multiple output formats, including HTML, Excel, and PDF
  • Drill down options where you can:
  • Automatically extend any report element to internal and external information sources, such as Web and news searches and related company reports
  • Build reports whose drill-downs possess their own form of intelligence – valuable information that gets “remembered” and can be passed to any other report or graph
  • Map into applications such as spreadsheets or Web-based searches without forgetting the details of your last request
  • Extend and complement traditional analytical systems like OLAP and pre-set reports
  • Object Inspector lets users view the properties of any report element at any time allowing the user to view the entire report, columns, fields, images, and sort groups.
  • Online Analysis Processing (OLAP) capability including:
  • Cubes, although cubes are not required
  • Ability to pivot or rotate the same data from different perspectives
  • Users can specify and calculate percentiles (ie. Deciles, quartiles), and choose names for the tiled groups
    Data Viewing
    Data can be viewed in whatever way is most usable for your needs including:
  • Graphical data visualization – immediately pinpoint high and low values in any row or column
  • Data orientation – arrange measures into typical tabular columns that run horizontally or stack measures vertically by dimension
  • Charts – automatically switch from tabular format to graphs like pie charts, bar charts, area graphs, and line graphs
  • Dashboards –enable administrators to maintain tight security and company control over the data
