    Straightforward
  • Access - In the i-Trust HR/payroll online system, you can access pages from your web browser, either Internet Explorer or Netscape.
  • Navigation - In both the green screen and web environments, you can navigate quickly between menus and perform table look-ups on requested data. In the web system, you click on a menu selection rather than type a transaction code to navigate to another function.
  • Dropdown boxes - Throughout the web system, descriptions in dropdown boxes replace codes for easy recognition.
  • Employee search - Name search allows the data entry clerk to find an employee without the employee ID; Social Security Number search allows you to find employees by either SSN or employee ID across organizations.
    Employee Self-Service Functions
    Employees use the Employee Self-Service web pages to view and change their personal HR and payroll data without going through their HR and payroll department.

    The Employee Self-Service (ESS) module is written in Java. i-Trust ESS offers live connectivity from the ESS server to the mainframe, resulting in real-time updates for both administrators and employees!
    Help
    Each online web page has an associated help page that includes information on new functionality, navigation changes, use of buttons at the bottom of the page, new methodology for Control Table searches and operator pattern searches, etc. The green screen version of i-Trust also includes Explain, a field sensitive help program.
