| Integral's Position Control system provides a framework for your staff
planning and HR programs. |
|
All organizations - public
and private - must carefully monitor their human resource
expenditures. Integral's Position Control System provides a
framework for staff planning, human resource development programs,
and budgetary controls and monitoring functions. The system is
designed to serve as an inventory of human resource requirements for
your organization, describing all positions in the organizational
structure - both current and planned, filled and vacant. Position
Control System is now web-enabled and can be integrated with
i-Trust Web.
The Position Control System describes
all positions in the organization and provides position profiles and
regular staffing reports to help managers evaluate staffing needs
over time. As a final check before a position is filled, the system
ensures that it is open. The Position Control System
features: |
|
Budget Planning and Monitoring |
|
Once positions are recorded,
Position Control makes it easy for you to project preliminary
budget figures, balance workloads, and model program
budgets. Using the Position Control System, you can
monitor human resource budgets throughout the fiscal year,
while tracking position status by job classification and by
department. You can also compare projected figures with
current and prior years' budgets. |
|
Position Control Database |
|
Within the Position Control
database is a set of information defining each current or
planned position. This information includes position
characteristics - such as job classification, position title,
and work schedule - as well as descriptive elements, such as
position status (e.g., vacant, frozen, permanent, or
temporary) and skills requirements (e.g., education,
applicable experience, licenses, and skill profile
elements). In addition, the database defines each position
in terms of salary (full time equivalency, beginning and
ending dates). Budgetary information for the current
fiscal year, as well as the next fiscal year, is carried on
the Position Control database. Prior fiscal period
information is maintained for comparative
reporting. |
|
Reporting |
|
The Position Control System
provides reports that show various types of information for
all positions in your organization's staffing plan, including
organizational level, job classification, and salary
data. |
|
Comprehensive Security |
|
Built-in security protects your
vital corporate information by allowing you to tailor your
security needs to your own corporate structure. Position
Control's flexibility makes it easy to maintain and use, while
allowing you to apply stringent security controls to restrict
who can enter data, download information, or create, run, and
change queries. |
|
Electronic Documentation |
|
The documentation is available as
Adobe Acrobat Files on CD-ROM. You'll find it easy to
distribute the documentation to various locations because of
its portable electronic format: put the files on your intranet
or company network, and any employee who has the need can have
access. |
| Flexible by design |
The
i-Trust Position Control System provides an inventory of your
organization's human resource requirements, and serves as a staff
planning tool for all levels of management. The system also
provides the mechanisms for requesting new positions and evaluating and
reclassifying existing positions. Position Control identifies
skills and provides projections for future training of employees.
And the system monitors salaries and wages for support to the
organization's budget.
The system is fully
integrated with the i-Trust Web Payroll/Personnel system. HR
employee data is available to the Position Control System,
which allows control of human resource commitments, expenditures, and
budgets.
